Y-Space was invited to perform Air and Breath I for the “Wishful Thinking Project” at the 10th Tanzwoche festival. Two other works were created in Dresden: Fragile, presented in a public space, and Meeting at the Wunshdenken Night Club.

Site-Specific Performance
In Public Space Dresden was heavily bombed during World War II, but some of the cobblestone streets remained. While in Dresden, Victor Ma picked up many discarded bottles from the streets. 99 bottles were arranged on the cobblestones, toppling, rolling and colliding at irregular intervals. Beautiful sounds emanated as the unyielding and the fragile made contact.
Meeting
Theatre Performance
The work was collaboratively performed with other artists at the festival, featuring installation, video projections, and simple lighting attached to their bodies. The work celebrated the meeting of the artists.
