To help celebrate the Cultural Centre’s 10th anniversary, Y-Space created a site-specific performance based on the Centre’s unique architectural characteristics, its historical background and the city life so distinctive to the site. Three groups of performers, in costumes both modern and historically inspired, traversed the Cultural
Centre and its piazza, water features, the waterfront promenade and public square. This interactive installation and site-specific dance transformed the Cultural Centre into a modern dance gallery, and as viewers traversed the site on their own accord, they too were transformed and became performers. An Angel also visited the Cultural Centre for its 10th anniversary to dance with the performers in Dance Collage Carnival!
